Uvent Limited (“Uvent”) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.This privacy policy explains how we use the information we collect about you (or that you provide us with), how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT & HOW WE USE IT

When you register for our service we need to know your name,email address, University & Student Number. We gather this information to allow us to process your registration and to process any orders you may make. The relevant information is then used by us, our agents and sub-contractors to provide you with statements of your account and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the conduct of your account and the provision of the service in general.

We may also collect and process details of your visits to our application including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.

We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the application and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual. We or our agents or sub-contractors may contact you by email.

Uvent will not store credit or debit card information from payments made through our services.

YOUR CONTROL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information you submit is within your complete control. All of this can be controlled by logging into your account and updating your account settings.

IP ADDRESSES

We may collect information about your Mobile Device, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. Athough we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. UPDATING YOUR DETAILS

All personal information entered into Uvent can be edited and changed by you at any time. Alterations can be made in the settings area.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to cancel your membership at any time. This can be done by logging into your account and reviewing the cancellation options.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.
